Yes, it surely works, but you can do it without ANY sort of expensive oitments, just take a piece of rough cloth, preferably felt, and rub away...Dry and nice. You can put many layers on top of each other on a long thin bolt,and press them together with a nut and put this polishing tool in your electric drill, and that's it. 5 minutes later you have a shining pipe, without any chemicals, that destroys your chrome.
